What is Notification Feature in HD Streamz?
Notifcation alert means HD Streamz can ping you whenever your selected channel goes live. Its a small popup on your device that tells you hey your show is live now. But this feature is not auto activated. You have to do it mannualy.
Use Built-in Alert System
HD Streamz have a alert system but many user ignore it. When you open a channel and watch it for long time the app ask you if you want alert next time. Always click “Yes” or “Allow” when asked. If you click “No” by mistake go to next step.
How to Activate Alerts Manually
- Open HD Streamz App
- Go to Settings in menu
- Scroll and find Notification Manager
- Enable toggle for Live Show Alerts
- Tap on Add Favrite Channels
Select your channels from list like Sony Ten, PTV Sports, Star Plus etc Done. You will now get notifcation for them
Set Custom Time Alert
Some peoples want alert 5 or 10 minutes before show starts. You can set that too.
- In Notification Manager
- Tap on Timing Option
- Choose time like 5min before or 10min before
- Click Save
Now app will notif you before time so you get ready with popcorn 😄
Make Sure App is Not Battery Optimized
On many phone apps don’t show alert becuz battery saver block it. You need to do this:
- Go to Phone Settings
- Search Battery Optimization
- Find HD Streamz
- Select Don’t Optimize or Allow Background Activity
Now alerts will work even when app not open.
Why You Still Not Getting Alerts?
You disabled HD Streamz notifcations from phone setting
- Go to App Setting → HD Streamz → Notifications → Turn On
- Old version of app
- Update from offical site for new features
- No internet
- Alert needs internet so keep data or wifi on
- App Crashed or Frozen
- Restart your phone or reinstall app
Time Zone Confusion Issue
Some people live in other countries and time is different. So they get alert in wrong time.
Fix this:
- Open HD Streamz → Settings
- Tap on Region or Time Zone
- Select your country like Pakistan India UAE etc
Save it
Now you get alert accoding to your local time.
Pro Tip – Use Calendar Together
If you watch fix shows like every Friday 8PM then add it to your Google Calendar and set alert there also. Double backup means you never miss even if HD Streamz glitch happen.
Use Third Party Notification Apps
You can also use extra apps from Playstore like:
- NotifyBuddy
- Notisave
- Buzzkill
These app catch any alert and show big popup or even LED color on screen so you notice fast.
Clear Cache if Problem Continues
- Sometimes app alert stop becuz of junk cache
- Go to phone settings → Apps → HD Streamz → Storage → Clear Cache
Then restart app and set alerts again
